Above are virtualization implementations we've designed and implemented on one of our installations.

We have been working on Xen Virtualization since 2008 and have built up our compfortability zone in working with it knowing it's community support, stability, and speed in instantiating fully virtualized machines designed for serving up TCP/IP Services. Below are such services which we have successfuly virtualized.

• » HTTP: Web Services via LAMP (Linux+Apache+MySQL+PHP)
• » SMTP: Mail and Webmail services
• » FTP/Telnet,SFTP/SSH,SSL - Remote Sessions and File Transfer Services
• » DNS: Domain Name Services
• » Active Virus Scanning via Web Proxy and Mail Services

Virtualization of machines on XEN is not limited to Linux, we've also successfully virtualized Windows XP 32/64 bit machines as well as any server service that can be installed on these platforms such as "Symantec End Point Protection" and many others. Virtualizing these types of platforms and software will require a purchase of a full working licensed copy of the OS and any software running on it. There's no difference in implementing it virtually or physically, only that when we do it virtually, you relieve your organizations practice of purchasing physical machines and in the same token gain real estate by eliminating said physical machine.
